My name is Roger Martinez. A long time ago, I traveled to El Paso, Texas, from California, to visit my aunt and uncle. During that visit, I met a girl. To make a long story short, she ended up being the love of my life. This year, we will be celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary. We have two amazing adult children, Michael and Jennifer. We have a 12 year old grandson, Grayson, who is a hockey player, and just the greatest guy you’ll ever meet.

I grew up in West Covina, and attended Del Norte School. After junior high, I graduated from Edgewood High School. Go Trojans! While on my way to school at Del Norte, I would walk by the building where my Insurance Agency is now. Never in my wildest dreams, would I have imagined I would open up my State Farm Agency, 25 years later, at this exact location in West Covina.

I love to give back to the community. I am a member of the Edgewood High Alumni group. We provide scholarships to students, and participate in various fundraisers throughout the year, including the annual picnic, held at Hurst Ranch, on the 3rd Saturday in July. It feels great to see how far our school has come, and to keep in touch with my classmates. I am also a sponsor of Charter Oak Athletics.
